Framework 1
Developed by clinical psychologist Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, NVC is a communication framework used globally in conflict resolution, diplomacy, and therapy. It focuses on expressing observations, feelings, needs, and requests — rather than judgements, blame, or demands.
WinConvo uses NVC principles to help users express their needs clearly and compassionately — especially in emotionally charged conversations like breakups, family conflicts, and workplace confrontations.

Framework 2

The Harvard Negotiation Project, founded in 1979, produced the landmark framework of principled negotiation — the idea that the best outcomes come from separating people from problems, focusing on interests not positions, and finding mutually beneficial solutions.
WinConvo applies these principles to high-stakes conversations like salary negotiations, contract disputes, and situations where you need to hold a position without damaging the relationship.

Most people don't fail at hard conversations because they don't know what to say. They fail because fear, self-doubt, or catastrophic thinking gets in the way. CBT principles help identify and reframe those blocks before they sabotage the conversation.
Knowing what to say isn't enough. You also need to know when to say it, how to anchor the conversation to shared interests, and how to handle pushback without caving or escalating. That's where negotiation research comes in.
WinConvo uses Llama 3.3 70B — one of the most capable open-source language models available — to synthesise these three frameworks into personalised, context-specific coaching. The AI doesn't generate generic scripts. It applies the frameworks to your specific situation, your specific relationship, and your specific Communication DNA profile.
Every script is generated fresh based on who you are, who you're talking to, what you're trying to achieve, and what you're afraid of. The result is coaching that feels like it was written by someone who actually knows you.
